I am a writer, policy advisor, and researcher focused on democracy, education, and civic life. My personal and analytical essays have been featured in The Atlantic (online), POLITICO Magazine, The Washington Post, the Sunday Edition of the Boston Globe, the Sunday Edition of the Philadelphia Inquirer, and The Chronicle of Higher Education, among other places.  I've appeared on the Smerconish Show on SiriusXM's POTUS channel, the Truth of the Matter Podcast, and Charlotte Talks with Mike Collins on WFAE.

Professionally, I have served as Amy McGrath's Policy Director and Speech Writer during her Senate race against Mitch McConnell. For Amy, I wrote six policy plans on topics from responding to the current economic crisis to cleaning up Washington. I also have helped CNN and SiriusXM host Michael Smerconish to launch his editorial website and David Gergen to write his forthcoming book on leadership. Currently, I am a student at Yale Law School.
